Phone message from Mike Adams, saved on Jared's old phone for 5 years. Very important piece of Bloomington music history.
Accidental guitar melody. I accidentally tuned my A string to Bb and made this up on the spot. Looped a couple vocal effects with my new reverb unit underneath and a second guitar over top.
lyrics
I had a dream about you. I had a dream I was watching a video tape and somehow through the video tape I was able to travel back in time. And I went back in time to an Everything, Now! show that you were playing before I knew you. And I went up and I was like, "Dude, you're Jared Cheek, right?" I'm like, "What year is it?" and you're like, "It's 1999." And I'm like, "Dude, I'm about to blow your mind. I'm Mike Adams from 2007 and I can tell you lots of things about yourself that you don't even know yet." And it was like, we became good buddies, and I'm telling you all these things, and then as I was telling them to you, I was like, a, worried that it was going to prevent the future so that went I went back things wouldn't have happened because I told you things before they happened so maybe they would have happened differently or not happened at all.
I did the same thing to Jimmy too although you were the one I was talking to most. Jimmy and Mike Johnson were there although they were making fun of me and not believing that I was from the future.
