A movie (and a director) that has haunted me for a couple years, ever since I saw it. The first Tarkovsky I saw was Stalker because of the sound clip in a Stars of the Lid song. It was amazing so I started watching all his movies one by one. Solaris stuck out to me as more than just a movie. There was something mortally concerning about it that directly involved me. I haven't seen it since but have wanted to. I just haven't been ready. Andrei Tarkovsky's 1972 film, Solaris.
